We are delighted to announce that Nano Imaging Facility has acquired a state-of-the-art Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) tool from Brookhaven Instruments. Carleton internal users will be able to access the Omni NanoBook DLS via NIF booking protocols. Should you need DLS particle characterization, please contact us at nif@cunet.carleton.ca.

Internal users and visitors are now allowed to access Carleton University buildings. Please follow the Carleton COVID-19 protocols before access any campus facilities.
November 1st 2020
In line with Carleton University COVID-19 Health Measures, all Carleton internal users need to have their Research Project Resumption Plan approved before access NIF space. External users are no longer allowed to access any NIF space.
October 8th 2020
Under orders from Government of Ontario and guidance from Public Health Ontario and Ottawa Public Health, Carleton University is required to implement COVID-19 screening for all employees, students and visitors. Effective immediately, the short COVID-19 screening form must be completed before entering Nano Imaging Facility.
September 29th 2020
In order to maintain social distancing and a smooth NIF operation, as of Oct. 5th 2020, all EM-related appointments are required to be reserved two days in advance. Thank you for your understanding.

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, journal invoicing option will no longer be available for internal transactions. All internal invoices will be billed via the eShop system.
